Smart Classes

We have got Smart classes with interactive whiteboards by EBIX. The 3D videos along with other educational software helps in making teaching and learning an effectual, interactive and fun process.

Transportation

School Bus Service Rules

Bus Service will be operated only to those areas from where at least 5 students can make use of the service.
Bus Service will follow any specific routes and cannot take diversion at the request of the parents.
Every Term the bus Fee will be collected in advance along with the school fee.
Even in circumstances when the student is not able to make use of the Bus Service for a part of the month, the Bus fee will be collected in full.
Parents are advised not to tip the Driver / Conductor and not to make use of them for their personal work at school.
If the school bus is not available for a particular day, due to unavoidable circumstances, then the parents will have to make arrangement for the conveyance.

Bus Conduct Rules

No part of the student's body should be held out of an open window at any time.
Objects should never be thrown in the bus or out of the window.
Students must never move from seat to seat while the bus is in motion.
Students are not permitted to reserve seat for friends or themselves by placing books on the seat.
There should be no drinking or eating in the seat.
The upholstery of the bus should not be damaged or marked in any way.
Shouting, quarreling and fighting are not permitted in the bus.
Students on bus Should obey the "Instruction & Guidance" of the Bus Driver & Conductor.

The present rates are subject to enhancement depending on increase in fuel costs, maintenance etc.,

Labs

Physics Lab:

We have a fully equipped physics laboratory to meet the curriculum requirements of physics. It provides a platform for the active and integrated learning by doing.

Chemistry Lab:

Chemistry lab is a unique lab that helps to develop an instinct for independent research and scientific thinking. Our lab is facilitated with apparatus like conical flasks, test tubes, burette, pipette and the necessary salts and solutions.

Biology Lab:

Our fully equipped biology lab affords students with various micro slides, microscopes, models, skeleton system, charts, specimens, stuffed specimens etc.,

Computer Lab:

A computer lab is important to enhance the scientific and technological research and invention capacity of students and to do that effectively they need a computer lab. From Standard Ist onwards, computer practicals are given to our students. We have a well equipped computer lab to cater the needs of the children.

Kids Play Arena

The C.S.I Matric. Hr. Sec. School at Kulasekharam provides excellent indoor and outdoor play facilities for all the students. The Kids playground area includes See-Saw, Swings and Slides and various other structures to improve co-ordination skills and overall health improvement. The seniors are encouraged to play Volley Ball, Foot Ball, Shuttle Badminton, Cricket as out-doors, and Chess, Carom board as in-doors.

Library

A library is a curated collection of sources of information and similar resources, selected by experts and made accessible to a defined community for reference or borrowing, often in a quiet environment conducive to study. Our School Library has a voluminous stock of books for all age groups. It is located on the First floor to facilitate a quiet atmosphere for peaceful reading and study. It plays a great role in the life of students by serving as the store house of knowledge.

Library - Working Hours/Rules And Regulation

Library will be kept open from 9:30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. on all working days. Students can borrow books during lunch break and also during their, alloted 1 Library Period each week.
Students are permitted to borrow only one book from the school library at a time and should retain it only for a period of one week.
Students should return the library books two weeks before the examination.
If the Students fails to return the book even after the grace period he will be liable to pay a fine at the rate of Rs. 10/- per week.
The librarian may call for the return of a particular book even before the expiry of the due date. Reference books and periodicals should not be taken out of the Reading Room.
Readers should not write upon, damage or make any mark on any book, manuscript or map belonging to the library.
Readers shall be responsible for any damage done to the books or other property belonging to the library and shall be required to replace each book or other property damaged or pay the value in rupees thereof.
If any one book in a set is damaged, the whole set will have to be replaced.
Readers will be allowed to take only bare sheets of papers and the School Hand Book with them inside the library for writing purpose.
Before leaving the library, the reader must return the book(s) lent to him/ her in good condition, otherwise he/she is held responsible for replacement of the book(s).
Silence should be strictly observed in the library.

Extra-Curricular Activities

ROBOTICS, AI and CODING -

The Robotics, AI & Coding curriculum aims to guide and prepare learners to solve problems, think critically, work collaboratively and creatively, function in a digital and information-driven world, apply digital and Information and Communication skills (ICT skills), and to transfer these skills to solve day to day problems. RESOLUTE International a renouned South African Robotics provider has joined hands with us to impart quality educational material in robotics and coding, and got to work building a solution that makes the curriculum affordable, accessible and thought provoking.

DANCE---Dance is a holistic activity for the mind, body and the soul. It aligns all these, and the participants are then more aware of their strength and weaknesses giving them an opportunity to identify them and work on them.

Dance helps improve overall fitness, endurance, muscle toning and strengthening. It involves cardiovascular/ aerobic fitness, core and strength training and stretches for flexibility. Students work together in a group and this sense of team spirit encourages them. At CSI school we have a well talented dance master, under his training our Primary Students practice Western, Hip-Hop & classical style of dancing.

MUSIC-----Music in itself is therapeutic. Students who practice musical instruments can improve their hand-eye coordination. Children can develop motor skills when playing music. Our Music Teacher at C.S.I School, teach our students to play Key Board, Violin, Guitar and also practice them vocals.

VEDIC MATHS---Vedic Maths is world's fastest mental maths system. It helps you calculate faster. Vedic Maths consists of 16 Sutras or Word Formulae and 13 sub-sutras (Sub Formulae) which can be used for solving mathematical problems in a far simpler manner. Our C.S.I Students practice Vedic Maths from standard 3rd onwards.

NEET & JEE Foundation Classes----IIT JEE / NEET foundation class is a starting point (building block) for aspirants in class 6 to 10. The foundation course helps aspirants become mentally and strategically strong when they start studying IIT JEE / NEET concepts and topics, ideally from class 11 onwards. Smart academy, conduct these classes in our C.S.I School.

English Club

An English Club is a place for language learners to use English in a casual setting. EDUVibes Communicative English team from Kerala are imparting their expertise in CE to our C.S.I students. Practising your CE skills in the classroom is important, but it is not like real life. ... In an English Club, you get a chance to practise many different skills in a setting that is more like real life. There are many reasons why English clubs can help learners of all ages and levels improve their English Skills. The most important reason is that they offer learners a chance to practice English by actually speaking it. There are other advantages, too. English clubs are less formal than a classroom setting. These classes help our students to perform excellently in interviews & group discussions held by Multi National Companies.
